Our Story.

Co-founder David Birnbaum was inspired by his own trip to the dentist. As a technology entrepreneur, he was not surprised to receive a restoration in one visit. What struck him was that most people still wait the standard two weeks. CAD/CAM dentistry has been available for years, but it has been under utilized. Through an innovative model, David saw an opportunity to make the technology more accessible and formed MobileTek Labs along with Marisa Birnbaum.

Started in 2007, MobileTek has grown quickly and been featured in various publications including Crain's NY Business, Dental Lab Products and Dental Products Report. The company's new Manhattan location opened in May 2010 at 30 East 40th Street in Midtown.,
